I build software.
Then I write down what I learned.

Hi, I’m Jérôme. After working on cross-platform .NET applications, I spent six years building Ketchapp’s technology stack and technical organisation. These days, I’m also exploring what AI genuinely changes for developers.

About me

Building is only half the job. The other half is sharing.

I’m a developer who gradually became a technical leader, without ever losing the urge to understand how things work.

I started in the Microsoft ecosystem, built cross-platform mobile applications and spoke at developer meetups. My time at Ketchapp then changed the scale of the work: products, platforms, data, quality and international teams all had to grow together.

Six years

From code to technical direction

After serving as a cross-platform technical lead at Infinite Square, I spent six years as Ketchapp’s Technical Director, building both its technology and the organisation responsible for it.

Six years at Ketchapp

Building an entire technical organisation, from the first line of code.

The role went far beyond architecture. It meant creating the internal products, forming the teams and giving the organisation the foundations it needed to scale.

Products that became a platform

I designed the complete technology stack and created Monetchapp, Marketchapp, Portal, MayoSDK and Pivotchapp. Initially built for Ketchapp, these tools were later shared and made available across Ubisoft.

Teams with clear ownership

I built the SDK, Web, Data Engineering and Quality Control teams, defining their responsibilities, ways of working and collaboration with the rest of the company.

Growing across borders

I recruited around ten people and managed an international team split between France and Ukraine. Architecture, recruitment, management and organisational growth became parts of the same job.

This blog is where I keep the useful details: the decisions, the failed attempts, and the little discoveries worth passing on.
